Practiced applying it one-handed on my thigh and the reduced windlass turns made the whole motion way more intuitive. I could get it snug and locked in seconds without fumbling. Definitely going in my range bag.

The windlass turns are seriously reduced compared to the older style I trained with, which made the whole application process feel a lot more intuitive under pressure. I timed myself after a few reps and shaved off a good chunk of time, which is exactly what you want in a worst-case scenario.

Dry-run practice for the team last weekend, and the reduced windlass turns were obvious right away—way less fumbling than with my old CAT. Takes a little extra force to seat the strap snug, but that’s a fair trade for how fast it locks down.
